Imojean "Jean" Cunningham (née Smith, formerly Hunt; 19 July 1910 – 18 August 2020) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).


Cunningham was born Imojean Smith in Bartow, Georgia, USA on 19 July 1910. Her parents were Sollie Arthur Smith and Donnie Powell. She had at least 5 siblings: Lillie Mae Smith, Wilehmina Smith, Oscar "Smith" Hardison (died in 2009), Eddie Lee Smith, and Robert Lee Smith. She attended school at Bethany, formerly known as Tarver Grove School. In 1935, she went to New York City, it was her first time leaving the state of Georgia. She was employed at Goldberg Co., a factory in New York City making mops as a Machine Operator. She later worked at a gift shop on 5thAvenue after the closing of the factory. In 1942, she married Walco Hunt. Her husband died 11 years after marriage. They had no children. She remained in New York until she retired, and returned to Bartow on 19 December 1971.

In 1983, she married Deacon Joe Cunningham. Her second husband died in 1993. She was also known as "Mama Jean". She celebrated her 109th birthday at the the Homeplace Adult Daycare in Wrens.

Cunningham died in Bartow, Georgia, USA on 18 August 2020 at the age of 110 years, 30 days.
