Jean-Clementus Amano (15 October 1908 – 15 June 2019) was a French supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group.

Biography

Jean-Clementus Amano was born on the French island of Reunion. He claimed to have been born in June 1907; however, according to Les Grands Centenaires Francais, his actual date of birth is 15 October 1908. Amano still lived in Reunion, France, as of 2018 and is the oldest known man ever from there, surpassing the record of Theophane Rifosta (1889–1999) in mid-2018. He also was the second-oldest living man in France, behind Roger Auvin.

Jean-Clementus Amano died in Reunion, France, on 15 June 2019 at the age of 110.
