James Nash (31 July 1872 – 4 March 1983) was an American supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). He was the oldest validated and undisputed man in the United States (Mathew Beard claimed to be older, and is validated, however, his age is disputed).
Nash was born in Tennessee, United States, on 31 July 1872. He became the oldest known undisputed man in the United States following the death of 111-year-old Zachariah Blackistone on 18 April 1982. He died on 4 March 1983 in Providence, Kentucky, United States, at the age of 110 years, 216 days. His successor as the oldest undisputed man in the United States was Walter Wilcox.
