Jacob "Job" Berg (28 April 1910 – 5 July 2016) was a Dutch centenarian who was the oldest known living man in the Netherlands at the time of his death.
Biography
Berg was born in Amsterdam in April 1910. He wanted to be a doctor when he grew up, but his father, a tailor, wanted him to become a tailor like him. Jacob followed suit and became a tailor. He married a woman named Greetje and had four children with her.
Berg moved into a retirement home in October 2015. He enjoyed playing the piano. He became the oldest living man in the Netherlands on 21 March 2016 upon the death of 107-year old Wim Hendriks. Berg died on 5 July 2016 at the age of 106. Dirk F. F. van der Noen then became the oldest living Dutch man.
