Thomas Jack O'Bryan (23 May 1856? – 30 July 1966) was an Australian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography

Jack O'Bryan claimed to have been born on 23 May 1856.

He joined the British Navy in 1870. He married in 1882. With nearly 60 years at the outbreak of World War I, he dyed his hair and enlisted. He served in France with the Third Field Company Engineers. He married a second time at age of 76. His second wife, Florence, died four years ago. He retired at age of 94.

In May 1964, he celebrated his claimed 108th birthday at St Vincent's Hospital, Brisbane. Many of his 70 descendents joined in the birthday party.

He was a life member of Australian Labor Party (ALP), which he joined in 1892.

Jack O'Bryan died in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia on 30 July 1966 at the claimed age of 110 years, 68 days.
