Ja Hyung Lee (born 27 August 1910) is a South Korean-born Canadian centenarian. If his claimed age is true, he would be the oldest living man in Canada.

Biography

Ja Hyung Lee was born in Busan, South Korea on 27 August 1910.

In Korea, he operated a jewelry store until his retirement nearly 40 years ago, when he moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil for about a decade. He moved to Canada when he was around 80 years.

His wife died around 2012 at the age of 92. On his 106th birthday, his family took him on an Alaskan cruise.

Following the death of Robert Wiener on 17 February 2019, he is believed to be the oldest living man in Canada.

On his 109th birthday, he had three sons, two daughters, 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Ja Hyung Lee currently lives at Amenida Seniors’ Community in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, at the age of 113 years, 235 days.
