María Isabel Castano [Spanish: Castaño] Restrepo de Lugo (11 January 1906 – 6 February 2018) was a Colombian-American supercentenarian who is currently unvalidated.
Biography
Isabel was born in Manizales, Caldas, Colombia, on 11 January 1906. She was daughter of Segundo Castaño Jaramillo and Dolores Restrepo Jaramillo. She got married with Jesús Antonio Lugo when she was 41 in Colombia and had two children. After the kidnapping and disappearance of her husband in Colombia, she emigrated to Venezuela in 1973. She later moved to the United States and lived in Washington, New Jersey, and New York before moving to Miami Beach, Florida (where she has lived for 20 years). According to the social media, Castano Restrepo died on 6 February 2018 at the age of 112 years, 26 days.
