Illa Toompuu (born 25 October 1912) is a Estonian-American centenarian who is currently the oldest living Estonian-born person.
Biography
Illa Toompuu was born in Narva, Russian Empire (now Estonia) on 25 October 1912. She moved to the United States in 1949. She married Joonas Toompuu (1908–1985). They divorced in 1975.
She became the oldest living Estonian-born person following the death of 108 year-old Marta Kivi on 23 August 2020.
Illa Toompuu currently lives in a nursing home in Brick Township, New Jersey, USA, at the age of 108 years, 89 days.
