Hedwig Wickert (born 17 July 1909) is a German supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Wickert was born in Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, on 17 July 1909.
She worked as accountant at St. Mary's Hospital (St. Marienhospital). When she was retired, she still brought the bookkeeping home.
Wickert never married and had no children. She lived with her already deceased sister who took care of the household while Wickert earned the money
In 2009, at the age of 100, she moved to a nursing home in Dellviertel, Duisburg. She celebrated her 110th birthday in July 2019. At that time, she did not talk much but still read without glasses.
Wickert currently lives in Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany at the age of 114 years, 276 days.
