Hedwig Wickert (born 17 July 1909) is a German supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography

Wickert was born on 17 July 1909 in Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. She worked as accountant at St. Mary's Hospital (St. Marienhospital) in Cologne, Germany. She never married, had no children, and lived with her now-deceased sister who took care of the household while Wickert earned the money.

In 2009, at the age of 100, Wickert moved to a nursing home in Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. She celebrated her 110th birthday in July 2019. At that time, she did not talk much but was still able to read without glasses.
