Harriet Mae Stanhope (née Sears; 21 August 1912 – 14 December 2020) was a Canadian centenarian who was one of the oldest victims of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Biography

Stanhope was born on 21 August 1912 in Rouleau, Saskatchewan, Canada. She had nine siblings, all sisters. She was married to Tom Stanhope, with whom she had two children, George and Barry.

For many years, Stanhope resided in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan with her family. In her later years, she lived in a care home in Regina, Saskatchewan. Stanhope died due to complications from COVID-19 on 14 December 2020 at the age of 108 years, 115 days, making her one of the oldest victims of the coronavirus pandemic. At the time of her death, she had four grandchildren and three grandchildren.
