Grace Rebecca Nelsen Jones (4 June 1893 – 24 April 2006) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography
Grace Rebecca Nelsen Jones was born in Richmond, Virginia, USA on 4 June 1893. She was the last child born to the family of Danish immigrants who came to the US in the 1870's, settling in Chicago before moving to Virginia about 1890. Her mother was born in 1850.
Jones is one of three supercentenarians with the names Grace Jones; the others are Grace Adelaide Jones (1899–2013) and Grace Catherine Jones (1906–2019).
Grace Nelsen Jones died in Virginia, USA on 24 April 2006 at the age of 112 years, 324 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest person in the state of Virginia.
