Gisele Chalifour (20 June 1907 – 13 September 2018) was a Canadian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was one of the oldest known living people in Quebec, Canada.
Gisele Chalifour was born on 20 June 1907 in Canada as the 13th of 14 children. She married and had a daughter, Nicole. Around the time of her 100th birthday, she fell and fractured her hip.
On her 110th birthday, Gisele was visited by singer Michel Louvain. She had developed a passion for him in the years prior, as he visited her nursing home annually. She talked a lot at the celebration, especially with her friend Eugenie, a volunteer at the nursing home who had known Gisele for 30 years. Gisele had a younger sister, who died in 2016 aged 108.
Gisele Chalifour died in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at the age of 111 years, 85 days.
