Giovanna Lizzio-D'Angelo (19 November 1888 – 4 February 1999) was an Italian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group.

Biography

Lizzio was born on 19 November 1888. She married Dr. Ruggerio D'Angelo when she was 17 years old. They had one child, a son. She became Italy's oldest person upon the death of Antonio Baldo on 28 August 1998. Lizzio passed away on 4 February 1999, aged 110 years, 77 days. Her successor as Italy's oldest person was Antonio Todde.
