Longevity claimant

Fu Suqing (19 July 1897?- 3 September 2016) was a Chinese supercentenarian longevity claimant who is currently unverified. According to the Chinese government, she was the second-oldest living person in China at the time of her death, after Fu Jiangshi. She was certified by the organization "Carry the Flag World Records" as the oldest living person, but no other organization has done so. In addition, she was considered by the Chinese government to be the oldest living person in Sichuan Province.

Biography

Suqing claims to have been married as a child bride at the age of 5 in 1902, and has thus far created a family of 50 people.

Suqing lived with her youngest daughter, Xu Shuhua, as well as her extended family. Towards the end of her life was nearly blind and hard of hearing, and used to take walks after each meal. She used a walking stick to get around. Her favourite foods included pork, chili, and peanuts. She loved spending time with children, sometimes playing with her great-granddaughter by rearranging her hat. [1]

Suqing died on 3 September 2016 at the claimed age of 119 years, 46 days.
