Foy Avis Ingram (28 November 1903 – 19 March 2016) was a validated American supercentenarian.
She was born in Randolph County, North Carolina, to parents John T. and Crissie Ingram. She had one older brother, Henry, and two younger sisters, Alberta & Mabel. Both sisters passed away in their 80s.
Foy attended the North Carolina College for Women and majored in business. After graduating in 1923, she became employed by the State Department. In 1946, she became the director of the Motor Vehicles Department's Registration Division. She retired in June 1970.
Ingram never married, thus keeping her last name throughout her life. In 1988, she moved to a nursing home in Davidson, North Carolina, where she continued to live in one of the apartments that were offered to seniors capable of independent living. On her 107th birthday, it was mentioned that she was still physically & mentally active. She died on 19 March 2016 at the age of 112 years, 112 days.
