Floried Hillers (January 1, 1872 – April 15, 1983) was an American verified supercentenarian. She was born in Georgia and became a widow in 1910. In her later life, she moved to Philadelphia. By the time Hillers was 90 years old, she was invalided. One day, burglars stole her jewels that were worth $10 000. On top of that, Hillers’ landlord threatened to evict her because she used to forget to turn off the gas. It was reported later that year (1962) that she received 15 invitiations from her friends for Thanksgiving. She died on April 15, 1983, at the age of 111 years, 104 days.
