Maude Winifred Mary "Dilla" Hughes (15 November 1910 – 28 January 2021) was a British supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Maude Hughes was born in Milton Malsor, Northamptonshire, England, UK on 15 November 1910. In November 2020, she celebrated her 110th birthday.
There was also a history of longevity in her family: her mother lived to 98, her sister Gwendolen Cochrane (19 March 1899 – 19 June 2004) lived to be 105 years, 92 days, her sister Nora Gowling (17 August 1903 – 23 August 2006) lived to be 103 years, 6 days.
Maude Hughes died in Tring, Hertfordshire, England, UK on 28 January 2021 at the age of 110 years, 74 days.
