Lilian Gonzalez de Andujar [Spanish: González de Andújar] (6 April 1911 – 20 November 2022) was a supercentenarian from the Dominican Republic whose age is validated by Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS).

Biography[]

Gonzalez de Andujar was born in Bani, Peravia Province, Dominican Republic on 6 April 1911. When she was 7 years old, the Spanish flu emerged, and she still remembered how her mother put camphor bags on her chest and for her siblings. She was the penultimate of 15 children. Lilian married and had three children. She worked as a housewife.

One of her sisters lived to be 107. At the age of 109, she was still able to talk on the phone. In April 2021, she celebrated her 110th birthday. She had a good memory.

She became the oldest known living person in the Dominican Republic, following the death of 110-year-old Confesora Pena on 12 December 2020. She became the oldest living Dominican Republic-born person on 10 May 2021, following the death of 110-year-old Edilia Ramona Nunez (who died in the United States).

Her age was verified by Fabrizio Villatoro, Santiago Garcia Medina, and Stefan Maglov, and validated by the LAS on 13 June 2021. The validation was later accepted by LongeviQuest (LQ).

Gonzalez de Andujar died in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on 20 November 2022, at the age of 111 years, 228 days. She is currently the oldest validated person to ever die in the Dominican Republic.
