Juan Tabol Reyes (23 November 1902? – 24 February 2013) was a Filipino-American supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Juan Reyes claimed to have been born in Baybay, Aklan, Philippines on 23 November 1902. His parents were Demetrio De los Reyes and Faustina Tabol. He had two siblings: Rufina Delas Reyes (1905–deceased), and Juan de los Reyes (1907–1996).

He married Maria De Luis Alindato in 1936. The couple had 8 children: Hugo Bustamante, Vislumino Reyes (1938–2010), Nelly Bustamante, Luzviminda Irao, Artura Iguban, Nifosima Tefora, Agnifita Reyes, and Real Reyes.

He was elected as a Barangay Captain in the Philippines. He belonged to the Filipino Community of Watsonville.

He moved to the United States in the early 1970s with his wife. He worked as fisherman for 30 years before retiring. He got widowed in 2002.

Juan Reyes died at Watsonville Community Hospital in Watsonville, California, USA on 24 February 2013 at the claimed age of 110 years, 93 days. He was survived by five daughters Nelly Bustamante, Luzviminda Irao, Artura Iguban, Nifosima Tefora and Agnifita Reyes; one son Real Reyes; 28 grandchildren plus in-laws; 46 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
