Delpha Bernetta Johnson (née Ray; formely Bucher; 21 May 1898 – 22 July 2008) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Delpha Johnson was born in Maysville, Missouri, USA on 21 May 1898. Her parents were Joseph Robert Ray and Lucinda (née Glass) Ray. She had 15 siblings.
She married J. Wesley Bucher in Pettis County, Missouri on 12 April 1916. The couple not had children.
She married John N. Johnson in July 1938. The couple not had children. She got widowed in 1958.
She was fully independent until 1998, when at the age of 100 she checked her self into Four Seasons Living Center in Sedalia, Missouri.
Delpha Johnson died in Sedalia, Missouri, USA on 22 July 2008 at the age of 110 years, 62 days.
