Catherine Wilson (30 March 1904 – 22 August 2014) was an Australian supercentenarian whose age is currently pending validation by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Catherine Wilson was born on 30 March 1904 in Tumut, New South Wales, Australia. She moved to Port Stephens, New South Wales in the late 1990s, to be closer to family.
Wilson moved to Harbourside Haven Retirement Village in 2000, remaining there until her death in 2014. She passed away on 22 August 2014 in Port Stephens, New South Wales, Australia at the age of 110 years, 145 days. At the time of her death, she had outlived her husband, and her only child, a daughter. She had been mobile until the beginning of August 2014, when she suffered two falls in the space of one week.
