Esmond Johnston Allcock (26 January 1910 – 22 March 2018) was a Canadian centenarian who was thought to have been the oldest living man in Canada at the time of his death, but due to the discovery of Robert Wiener, Allcock never held the title.

Biography[]

Esmond Allcock was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada on 26 January 1910. Esmond was married to his wife Helen for 72 years, until her death in 2011. The couple had six children, two of whom died respectively in 1976 and 1998. He also had 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Allcock celebrated his 108th birthday on 26 January 2018, and died in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, Canada on 22 March 2018 at the age of 108 years, 55 days.
