Esmel Gnagne Ernest (1901? - 26 July 2013) was a Ivorian supercentenarian claimant.

Esmel Gnagne Ernest claimed that he was born in Dabou, Lopou, Ivory Coast in 1901. He was a patriarch and claimed that he was a friend of former president Laurent Gbagbo, who visited him in 1993[1]. Esmel Gnagne Ernest passed away in his home village in Debremou, Lopou, Ivory Coast on 26 July 2013 at the claimed age of 112 years[2]. If his age is true, he could be oldest known man ever from Ivory Coast.
