Emma Wyatt Wilson (née Dysart; 12 May 1870 – 13 October 1983) was a validated American supercentenarian who was also the World's Oldest Person.
Biography
Emma Wilson was born as Emma Dysart in Center, Buchanan, Missouri as the daughter of James and Katherine Martin Dysart, on 12 May 1870. She married George Bartlet Wilson in Ava, Douglas, Missouri on 9 May 1914. She didn't have any children. Emma worked as a teacher until retiring. She was widowed in 1945.
Emma Wilson died in Ava, Douglas, Missouri on 13 October 1983, aged 113 years, 154 days. Her sister, Dora Smith (1868-1970) lived to be 102.
