Emma Donna Radford (née Goins; 14 May 1907 – 23 July 2017) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She was the oldest known living person in West Virginia, USA.

Biography

Emma Radford was born as Emma Donna Goins in Backus, Fayette County, West Virginia, USA, on 14 May 1907 (she claimed the 15th, but it is the 14th according to her birth index). Her parents were Bert Garfield Goins and Minnie Goins. She had two older siblings, named Elgie and Thelma. She married Jessie Radford in the 1930s.

Emma's mother Minnie died on 8 February 1958. Her father Bert would follow four years later on 27 September 1962, just over a month after his 82nd birthday. On her 110th birthday, she was presented with a Town of Fayetteville Centenarian Certificate by Mayor Dennis Hanson during her party.

Emma Radford passed away in Fayetteville, West Virginia, USA, on 23 July 2017, at the age of 110 years, 70 days.
