Elisabeth Georgette De Proost (5 February 1908 – 25 January 2020) was a Belgian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).


Elisabeth De Proost was born on 5 February 1908 in Belgium. She later married and had at least one daughter. She worked as an accountant for many years. She was later widowed, and lived independently on a second-floor flat until she was 106, when she moved into a nursing home. As of her 110th birthday in 2018, she is a grandmother and a great-grandmother. She claimed that her secret to a long life was to “accept what happens, be grateful, and above all, keep on dancing.”

Elisabeth De Proost lived in Anderlecht, Brussels, Belgium. She was the oldest living person in the region of Brussels and, since the death of Madeleine Dullier on 20 April 2018, the oldest living person in Belgium.

Elisabeth de Proost died on 25 January 2020 at the age of 111 years, 354 days.
