Diega Cammalleri (23 October 1905 – 15 June 2019) was a validated Italian supercentenarian. She is the oldest person ever from the Italian region of Sicily.


Diega Cammalleri was born in Canicatti, Agrigento Province, Sicily Region, Italy on 23 October 1905. She never married and she worked as a teacher. On her 111th birthday, she was awared with the Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy by the President of Italy, Mr. Sergio Mattarella. On 23 October 2017, she turned 112 years of age, being the second Sicilian to do so.[1] On 10 January 2019, she surpassed the final age of Mariannina Genovese (who was eight days older) to become Sicily’s oldest person ever.

Her sister Filippa Cammalleri (1911–2018) lived to be 106.

Diega Cammalleri died in Canicatti, Agrigento Province, Sicily Region, Italy on 15 June 2019 at the age of 113 years, 235 days. She was the second-oldest person in Italy behind Maria Giuseppa Robucci.
