Damaris Josephine Bryant (born 12 May 1909) is a Jamaican-born British supercentenarians whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group.
Biography
Bryant was born on 12 May 1909 in Jamaica. She moved to the United Kingdom in the 1950s to work as a nurse, and settled in the London Borough of Wandsworth. Since the 1980s she has lived in the district of Battersea in Wandsworth.
As well as working as a nurse, Bryant also volunteered for a charity. She reportedly enjoys watching soap operas on television, and is a big fan of the royal family.
On her 108th birthday, Bryant was visited by Wandsworth mayor Richard Field. She became a supercentenarian in May 2019.
