Constantin Hertoiu [Romanian: Herţoiu] (born 28 February 1914) is a Romanian centenarian who is the oldest living man in Romania since the death of Ioan Lascau on 15 February 2021. He is also the oldest living veteran in Romania, having fought on the front and held prisoner in the Soviet Union for 5 years.
Constantin Hertoiu was born in Romania on 28 February 1914. He married and had six children: three daughters and three sons (one daughter deceased as of November 2020). His wife died around 2004.
In September 2020, he was among those decorated with Royal Medal for Loyalty by Margareta, Custodian of the Crown of Romania, making him the oldest person ever who has received a Romanian royal distinction.
Constantin Hertoiu currently lives in Caineni, Valcea County, Romania, at the age of 107 years, 114 days.
