Christina Cetoute (9 June 1903 – 24 August 2016) was a Saint Lucian supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). If validated, she would be the oldest person who ever lived in Saint Lucia.
Biography
Cetoute claimed to have been born in Saint Lucia on 9 June 1903. Cetoute had two children (both deceased as of 2015). She worked as a farmer for decades.
On her claimed 112th birthday, her great-grandson told St. Lucia News Online (SNO) that he would like more government support for his great-grandmother. He also said that Cetoute’s secret of longevity is eating natural, non-processed food. At that time, Cetoute was sightless and bedridden. She was commonly known as "Ma Fleur".
Cetoute died in Morne d'Or, Saint Lucia, on 24 August 2016 at around 12:24 PM.
