Charlotte Bauch was born in Saxony, Germany on 12 October 1900 and died in Bavaria, Germany on 2 May 2011 at the age of 110 years and 202 days. At the time of her passing, Mrs. Bauch was the oldest living person in Germany. She became oldest living woman in Germany after the death of Berta Zeisler on 1 December 2010. After her death Karolina Grober became oldest living woman in Germany.
