Celanira Monteiro (16 February 1900 - 19 January 2013) was a Brazilian supercentenarian who is currently unverified.
According to asylum records, Celanira was an employee of the Porto Alegre Institute of Education. Born in 1900, On the last anniversary celebrated at the asylum, Celanira won a special party with the right to special clothes, cake, "congratulations to you" and guests.
In spite of her old age and being unable to walk, besides the difficulties in sight and speech, the old woman maintained the high spirits. "She interacts, she likes music, she is affectionate, everything is good for her, she does not complain about anything, she is always willing," said the institution's director, Julio Cesar Pinto, when she was 112 years old.
