Cecile Edith Klein (née Efros) (born 15 June 1907) is a Canadian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She is one of the oldest known living people in Quebec, Canada.

Biography

Cecile Klein was born Cecile Edith Efros on 15 June 1907 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to Polish-born Jewish parents Louis Lebel Hillel Arya Efros and Rachel (née Pearson) Efros. Both of her parents were born in Podlaskie, Poland, in April 1881 and on 8 March 1887 respectively.

Cecile married Israeli-born Erwin Isaac Issie Klein (born 23 February 1905) on 5 June 1932 and had three children with him: Harriet, Arnold, and Louise. Cecile’s father Louis Efros died on 27 December 1950 aged 69. Her mother Rachel Efros died on 24 October 1965 aged 78. Cecile was widowed on 26 October 1999 when Erwin Klein died aged 94. They had been married for 67 years.

Cecile Klein currently lives in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at the age of 116 years, 308 days.
