Centenarian |
Bertha van Hasselt (24 November 1901 – 16 October 2009) was a Dutch centenarian.
Bertha Laurentia Maria Coleta van Hasselt was the oldest person in the Netherlands for only three days between 13 October 2009 and her death on 16 October 2009,[1] at the age of 107 years, 326 days. She inherited the title after the death of 112-year-old Grietje Jansen-Anker of Vlissingen,[2] making her the first oldest living person in the Netherlands born in the 20th century. She was born and lived in Roosendaal until age 98 and moved to a Breda nursing home in 2000. After her death, 107-year-old Wijtske van Dijk-Meindersma became the oldest person in the Netherlands.[3]
