Bertha Laurentia Maria Coleta van Hasselt (24 November 1901 – 17 October 2009)[1] was a Dutch centenarian.
She was the oldest person in the Netherlands for only 4 days between 13 October 2009 and her death on 17 October 2009, at age 107 years 327 days. She inherited the title after the death of 112-year-old Grietje Jansen-Anker of Vlissingen,[2] making her the first oldest living person in the Netherlands born in the 20th century. She was born and lived in Roosendaal until age 98 and moved to a Breda nursing home in 2000. After her death, 107-year-old Wytske van Dijk-Meindertsma became the oldest person in the Netherlands.[3]
