Berta Grez Martinez (born 1 March 1911) is a Chilean supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Berta Grez Martinez was born on 1 March 1911 in Chile. She married Aristides Ahumada. The couple had 10 children (four still living), 38 grandchildren, 89 great-grandchildren, and 80 great-great-grandchildren.
Grez Martinez has suffered from medical problems in recent years. It was reported recently that she suffered a fall, she was taken to Curico Hospital, where they performed an immediate operation. Martinez successfully recovered, and is currently living in a wheel chair. In March 2021, she celebrated her 110th birthday.
Grez Martinez currently lives in Curico, Maule Region, Chile at the age of 113 years, 49 days.
