Arnold Leissler (born 21 May 1911) is a German-born Polish centenarian who is the oldest living German-born man.
Arnold Leissler was born in Hannover, Lower Saxony, Germany, on 21 May 1911. There he grew up, educated as an architect, started a family and worked. He never thought about moving to another city, never to another country. Four years ago he left his old life and moved to Poland, where he lived in a small village of Staw, Lubiszyn Municipality, Lubuskie Voivodeship located 60 kilometers from the Polish-German border.
Arnold Leissler is currently the oldest living German-born man and the second oldest living man in Poland behind Stanislaw Kowalski. His hobby is painting.
