Annita Guizzo (2 September 1913 – 24 December 2020) was an Italian centenarian who was one of the oldest victims of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Biography

Guizzo was born on 2 September 1913 in Volpago del Montello, Veneto, Italy. She was married to Iginio, with whom she had 10 children. She cared for Iginio when he was ill prior to his death in 2001. As of 2020, Guizzo had seven living children, 15 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

In early December 2020, Guizzo was taken to hospital in Treviso, Veneto, Italy after contracting COVID-19. She died on 24 December 2020 at the age of 107 years, 113 days, making her one of the oldest victims of the coronavirus pandemic.
