Anne A. Feth (née Weixl; 14 May 1914 – 15 January 2021) was a Candian-born American centenarian who was one of the oldest victims of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Biography

Early Life

Feth was born on 14 May 1914 in Wakaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, the oldest of four children born to Joseph and Elizabeth Weixl. She attended a one-room schoolhouse from age seven through 17. She married fellow Canadian Ignatius "Rex" Feth in 1934, and they subsequently moved to New York state, USA and became US citizens.

Feth was a homemaker most of her life. In their 69 years of marriage, she and her husband moved home at least five times, living in different areas of New York state. They had three children: Margaret, George, and Dorothy.

Later Life and Death

Feth first gained her driver's license at the age of 72, and she worked at a dressmaking factory for five years. At the time of her 100th birthday, Feth was living in an apartment in Coxsackie, New York, but later moved into a nursing home in Catskill, New York.

Feth died on 15 January 2021 at the age of 106 years, 246 days due to complications of COVID-19, making her one of the oldest victims of the coronavirus pandemic. At the time of her death, she had three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
