Anna Ringier-Kieser (12 April 1896 – 3 September 2006) was a Swiss supercentenarian whose age is currently pending by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She was the oldest known person in Switzerland when she died.


Anna Kieser was born on 12 April 1896 in Lenzburg, Aargau, Switzerland. She married Hans Ringier in 1920 and moved to Zofingen, Aargau where she lived in her own home with her son since 1984 until her death. Hans and Anna had two children together. Hans passed away in 1930, only 10 years after marriage. Anna worked in a shoe store.

She became the oldest person in Switzerland upon the death of Suzanne Jaccard on 2 October 2004.

Anna Ringier-Kieser passed away on 3 September 2006 at the age of 110 years, 144 days. Her successor as Switzerland’s oldest person was Rosa Rein (1897–2010).
