Agnes Munce (17 January 1877 – 17 December 1988) was a validated Canadian supercentenarian.
Biography
Agnes Munce was born in Parkhill, Ontario on 17 January 1877. She married John Munce and moved to Alberta in 1901. The couple had at least one children, a daughter Martha (married Burton).
On her 111th birthday, her doctor stated that she longevity was due to her positive attitude and her taking care of herself physically and mentally. Agnes Munce moved to a nursing home when she was 102 years old. She once broke her leg as a result of a rainstorm.
Agnes Munce died on 17 December 1988 aged 111 years, 335 days. She was validated by the Gerontology Research Group.
