Ada Stockdale (14 February 1885 – 24 June 1996) was a British-born Australian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of death, she was the oldest living person in Australia.
Stockdale was born in Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom, on 14 February 1885. She married Thomas Edwin Stockdale in 1908. The couple had at least one son, Sid. She moved to Australia at the age of 92.
In 1986, Stockdale and her son visited Canberra as the guests of the then-Liberal MP for Moreton, Don Cameron, to celebrate Stockdale's 101st birthday. On 14 May 1990, at the age of 105, she visited Parliament House in Canberra with her son Sid, aged 81 at that time. On 8 December 1995, Stockdale became the oldest living person in Australia following the death of 110-year old Ada Cleggett.
Stockdale died in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, on 24 June 1996, at the age of 111 years, 131 days.
