Is there a confirmation or any proof if L.P. could celebrate her 113th birthday? How is she currently doing in terms of her health? Thank you very much for an answer.
What's on your mind?
I'm glad I met Herbert O. Wolding in person the year he turned 100 back in 2012! Mr. Wolding drove to the Wolding terminal for a driver appreciation lunch. Got his own plate of food, sat down across from me and talked with me while we ate. After he left, people told me who he was and how old he was. I was surprised because he appeared to be in his 70's!
it has been nice to contribute to this wikia (until my commitment has been reset) for several years, now it's my time to get rid of ...
He is supposed to be the oldest man in Brazil
I am having trouble uploading a photo properly. It is of Henry Allingham on his 113th birthday. I was trying to add it to Henry Allingham’s gallery but the file just won’t load.
Here is the photo:
Kane Tanaka’s article on the wiki hasn’t been updated in quite a while due to the protection, and I feel like it should be unprotected so that way someone can add a source of her Covid vaccination and also, she does not have the “National Record Holder” category even though she surpassed Nabi Tajima last year to become the oldest Japanese person ever.
Tanaka’s Twitter is how I found out she got the Covid vaccine.
I also think Kane Tanaka, along with Jeanne Calment and Sarah Knauss, should get longevity pages like Jiroemon Kimura.
Can someone update his status from living to deceased? He died earlier today.
I found a longevity claimant who recently died who claimed to have been ‘127 years old’ at the time of his death. If I knew how to add him to the Gerontology Wiki I could but I do not know how to. Can someone please add this longevity claim as an article on the Gerontology Wiki? Thanks.
Grettinngs, I noticed that on the last few months there was created few longevity myths articles, and those aren't articles about "reliable longevity myths", but the just a stubs, articles which Gerontology wiki needs, literally just making article by just adding few words?
For example longevity myths articles such as Li-Ching Yuen shouldn't get deleted, because there is no reason for it, but those few should..
Please delete those...
Can someone who is able to edit Kane Tanaka add a source of her COVID vaccination? I heard she recently got the vaccine.
I found out that she is pending to become validated by the GRG and pending to become the oldest person ever and the world’s oldest living person. If she is validated, Kane Tanaka, the current oldest living person in the world, would lose the title of world’s oldest living person and Jeanne Calment would lose the title of oldest person ever. Also if she is validated she would have been the oldest living person in the world since the death of Jiroemon Kimura, and all the world’s oldest living person titleholders from Misao Okawa to Kane Tanaka would have never held the title and Tanaka would have her GWR/WOP title taken away.
Does anyone know what Lawrence Brooks’ experience was like with Hurricane Ida? I know in 2005 during Katrina he evacuated by helicopter and returned to New Orleans a little over a year after Katrina, but what was his experience like with Ida?
can someone kindly explain to me how to add a green box (living) on the tables, i can't in any way
I found a 116 year old longevity claimant from India who should be added to Gerontology Wiki. He just died recently. He claimed to have been the world’s oldest living man.
I found a 169 year old longevity myth. Can someone add him as a Gerontology Wiki article?
I really hope he survives Hurricane Ida since it is gonna be a powerful hurricane and it could be the worst storm in Louisiana since Katrina. He has survived Katrina. If he survived Katrina I am sure he will survive Ida, since Louisiana is used to hurricanes but not like Katrina or Ida.
I know that Saturnino de la Fuente Garcia is the oldest living man in the world since the death of Emilio Flores Marquez. I just wished that Saturnino was validated and recognized by the GWR as the oldest man in the world. I found an article that admits that he’s the oldest living man in the world. Wikipedia also says that he is the oldest man in the world since Emilio’s death on August 12.
