I met William the Conqueror!
Certified as oldest American as of today and last verified American born 1906, Thelma Sutcliffe was born in Benson, Omaha, Nebraska, on 1 October 1906. Yet Clara Huhn has a page stating she was the oldest American to have been born in Nebraska, living to the age of 113. Please correct.
My mother, Sarah P. Spires, according to your website, has not been validated as being 111 years old. What is necessary in order to get her validated? Please advise.
I'm trying to establish whether my Dad and his brother might be the oldest living male twins in Ireland? They were born in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland on 13 January, 1929.

I hope it happens because I wasn’t alive when Jeanne Calment was. Let’s keep watch to see if she does break the record!
She turns 107 on March 25 and seems to be in pretty good health. Do you think she should have a page on here?
When I was a boy, my grandma showed me a newspaper article on her grandma who was the oldest living person in her state, which I think is Zacatecas, Mexico. I'm trying to find that article, but it's not easy. Or anything about this woman. Does anyone have suggestions?
Through Ancestry.com search features, I found one centenarian who is part of my tree who lived to be 110. Her name was Tereza Valdez( Became Mendez when married to Juan Mendez). Her son's (Jacinito) marriage record fortunately mentions that his father died but his mother, Tereza, who is 110 is still alive. That was in the year 1944.
Jeanne Calment was 61 years, 2 months and 22 days old on May 13, 1936 and died on August 4, 1997, 61 years, 2 months and 22 days later
1st half of Jeanne Calment's life (February 21, 1875-May 13, 1936): 61 years, 2 months and 22 days
2nd half of Jeanne Calment's life (May 13, 1936-August 4, 1997): 61 years, 2 months and 22 days
However i don't know in what year he was born or in what year he died. But i do know he's a paternal great-great-great-grandfather of mine because he's my father's great-great-grandfather
My uncle, George Feldman, died on his 112th birthday, on December 2, 2018. He is currently uncertified/unvalidated
. I have his original birth certificate. Is this enough to prove his date of birth and the validity of his age
Inspired by Arthur De Moares Silva Barbosa who made a Portuguese/Brazilian version of this wiki, I have created Gerontologie wiki, and version of this wiki for those who speak German. I have made 10 articles including ones on the oldest people ever, the oldest Germans ever, Jeanne Calment, Jiroemon Kimura and more. I took two years of German in middle school so I was able to get some things but if anybody speaks at least “ein bischen Deutsch” or knows somebody that does I would love to talk to them. I once saw Robert talking about trying to get this wiki in other languages. Even if you don’t speak German, I would love to hear advice from people like Robert, Frankland, Waclaw, Arthur, Richard, Matreas, Blaz, Ollie, Stefan and other experienced users.
